Terms & Conditions
The basis on which MathMentor provides online mathematics tutoring.
Last updated: 19 September 2026
About these terms
These terms apply to this website and to tutoring provided by MathMentor by JK Sir. By booking a class you accept them. Where we agree something different with you directly in writing, that agreement takes precedence.
What we provide
MathMentor provides personalised 1-to-1 live online mathematics tuition across curricula including IB, IGCSE, GCSE, A-Level, CBSE, ICSE, the USA, Australian and Canadian curricula, and exams including the SAT, ACT, AP Calculus, IIT JEE and GATE. Classes are taught by JK Sir over a video platform such as Zoom or Google Meet, at times agreed with you.
The free assessment class is exactly that: a genuine class at no cost and with no obligation to continue.
Booking and arrangements
Enquiries and bookings are made through the forms on this site, by WhatsApp, by email or by phone. Class timings, frequency, duration and curriculum are agreed directly between you and JK Sir before classes begin, and can be changed by mutual agreement.
Please give as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or move a session, so the slot can be offered to another student. We will do the same for you.
Fees and refunds
Fees depend on the curriculum, grade, session length and frequency, and are agreed with you in writing before paid classes start. We will always tell you the fee before you commit to anything.
Refunds are handled directly and in good faith. If a class we have charged for does not take place because of us, we will reschedule it or refund it, whichever you prefer. If you wish to stop classes, tell us and we will settle any unused prepaid sessions with you. Where a payment gateway is used, its own processing timelines apply to the return of funds.
If anything about fees or a refund is unclear, ask us before paying: admin@mathmentor.co.in.
What we expect from students
Tutoring works when the student attends on time, comes prepared, and does the practice agreed between sessions. We ask that classes are not recorded, shared or re-broadcast without permission, and that worksheets and materials we provide are used by the student personally rather than distributed.
Results
We teach as well as we can and many students improve substantially. We cannot promise a particular grade, score or admission outcome, because results depend on the student’s own work, their school, and the examining board. Nothing on this website should be read as a guarantee of results.
Reviews and testimonials
Reviews published on this site are submitted by real students and parents and are published after we verify them. They describe individual experiences and are not a prediction of what any other student will achieve. Video reviews are published only with written parental permission and are removed on request.
Website content
The articles, worksheets, explanations, design and other material on this website belong to MathMentor by JK Sir. You are welcome to read, print and study them. Please do not republish or sell them, or present them as your own, without our permission.
Our blog articles are general educational guidance. Curricula and exam patterns change, and boards publish the authoritative version — check with your school or board before relying on any detail for an exam.
Third-party platforms
Classes and communication rely on services we do not control, such as WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Meet and YouTube. Their own terms apply when you use them, and an outage on their side is outside our control — though we will always reschedule a class lost that way.
Liability
We provide tutoring with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for examination outcomes, or for matters outside our reasonable control. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Rajasthan have jurisdiction over any dispute. We would far rather resolve any problem by talking to you first — please contact us before anything escalates.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to take classes after a change means you accept the updated version.
